Euro-Trend, the company of Jiří Nekovář, became part of the consulting company BDO

Euro-Trend, the oldest Czech company specialising in tax consultancy, was founded in 1990 by Ing. Jiří Nekovář, Ph.D., has become part of the BDO consulting company. Jiří Nekovář led the Chamber of Tax Advisors for 15 years, striving for its high quality, professionalism and respect from the state administration. He was also the President of the Confederation of European Tax Advisors (CFE) from 2013 to 2014, an advisor to the Asian organization AOTCA and is the founder of the Global Tax Advisor Platform (GTAP). He also served as a member of the National Economic Council of the Government of NERV.
He now heads BDO Euro-Trend, which has become part of BDO Czech Republic. 


"I personally consider Mr. Jiří Nekovář to be the greatest Czech personality in the field of tax consultancy, the father of tax consultants in the Czech Republic. I highly respect his expertise and what he has done for the Czech Republic in the field of tax system. That is why I am honoured that after almost 35 years of independent business he decided to join BDO, a company with a vision to be the best place for professionals and personalities like Jiří. He will be an important mentor and role model for our current and future colleagues," says Miroslav Jandečka, Managing Partner of BDO in the Czech Republic.

Euro-Trend is a tax and economic consulting company. Its team includes experts in various fields with many years of experience in dealing with complex tax and legislative issues, not only nationally but also internationally.

I have known Miroslav Jandečka and a number of other existing BDO partners for some time. Both firms have decided not to disclose the price of the transaction.
