BDO has gained an important addition Petra Pospíšilová
BDO's tax department is expanding with the addition of a leading expert, the current president of the Chamber of Tax Advisors, Petra Pospíšilová. In her new position, she will focus mainly on the corporate income tax agenda with a focus on international aspects of taxation and value added tax. The arrival of Petra Pospíšilová to BDO is a continuation of the long-term strengthening of BDO's tax department. This was joined by Jiří Nekovář's Euro-Trend consultancy company at the beginning of the year.
"I was motivated to move to BDO primarily because it is a large Czech-owned consulting company with a diverse range of services and an interesting portfolio of clients, but BDO also attracted me in terms of its values, its corporate culture and its healthy desire to develop and grow," says Petra Pospíšilová. "I have already received positive references to BDO during my previous practice, both from people in the professional world and from clients and employees I have got to know in a professional environment," adds the President of the Chamber of Tax Advisors.
Petra Pospíšilová has made her mark on the professional community as a long-standing tax director of the ČSOB Group, which has earned her a place in the Hall of Fame of the most influential women in the Czech financial world. She has also worked abroad - for three years she was Vice President of CFE Tax Advisers Europe, which brings together 30 professional organisations of tax advisers from 24 European countries. She has been the president of the Chamber of Tax Advisors of the Czech Republic for nine years.
For BDO, this is another personal enrichment after the arrival of Jiří Nekovář at the beginning of the year, who also held the post of President of the Chamber in the past, the longest of all. Martin Tuček is one of the current six presidents of the Chamber of Tax Advisors.
"At BDO, we are working to continue to be a leader in terms of expertise and quality of services. However, we also strive to be a firm for people, for employees who want to fulfil their professional dreams at BDO and, of course, for clients who have their own dreams, business dreams. In order to be successful in this endeavour, we are helped by a sophisticated professional development system and also by specific people, experts who use their experience and know-how not only when advising clients, but also pass it on to other employees or future experts in general," comments Miroslav Jandečka, Managing Partner of BDO in the Czech Republic.
"We are all the more pleased that such personalities as Petra and, more recently, Jiří Nekovář and Václav Čepelák from the General Financial Directorate have joined us with confidence. They broaden our view of the market with another perspective, which allows us to help companies manage all matters more effectively. At the same time, we can have a dialogue with public administration representatives on how to simplify and clarify legislation while maintaining its regulatory sense," adds Miroslav Jandečka.
